*A few quick things:

1) The Mandalorian is amazing television - everything from the action (and quiet moments) to the music to the cinematography is on point.

2) It's set five years after Endor.

3) For more canonical Mandalorian goodness and lore, check The Clone Wars series. With Dave Feloni being behind that as well as involved with The Mandalorian, I would be shocked if something mentioned in the series comes up again.

*I just read earlier that the timeline was shown at some event for The Mandalorian; I hadn't heard prior to that. Is The Clone Wars still canon? Not that it matters, really; as most of the Mandalorian stuff started with Bioware, although TCW might have taken it other places.

*All the Disney stuff is canon - Clone Wars cartoons (second series, not the original Tarkovsky shorts, which are awesome), comics, and the novels.
